Invacare SOLO2 Transportable Concentrator Approved by FAA for Airline Travel

ELYRIA, Ohio - (July 19, 2010) - Invacare Corporation (NYSE: IVC) announced today that the Federal Aviation Administration SFAR No. 106 has been amended to include the Invacare® SOLO2® Transportable Concentrator for use onboard passenger aircrafts.

The SOLO2 Transportable Concentrator features continuous flow at 1-3 LPM and pulse dose at 1-5. Small, quiet and reliable, it comes standard with a wheeled cart, Invacare®l Sensi-Pulse™ Technology and battery, AC or DC operation for patient convenience.
